For the first time I'm offering a complete sketchbook of original mixed media works and drawings. There are 8 works in total, 5 horizontal and 6 vertical. All works are 12" x 9". The works were made between 2/26/25 and 6/30/25. All 1 of 1, no prints made.
These works are part of my "The Space In Between" series. They are more vulnerable works than I usually choose to sell. I've edited some photos for this reason. The earliest pieces were very inspired by my trip to Vietnam, Cambodia and northern Thailand in January & February 2025. I gathered a lot of collage materials on that trip and took a million photographs. The bright colors and busy streets held my attention from dawn to dusk. I dreamed of living there while creating these works and the thought still enters my mind.
In the final artwork of this book I reference having a monk blessing in Chiang Rai, Thailand. I'm still wearing that bracelet. Still holding hope but I feel like I'm standing in a pile of chaos, clawing my way out. Being still. Trusting the world. And myself. I'm working on it.
