Island Walks

I really disliked the shared housing situation at my art residency so I did an abnormal amount of nature walks to find calm while I was there.  I walked for hours, usually three times a day.  It was so cold there but Spring was pushing flower buds open none the less.  The layers of green in the forest was no intense and rich with texture.  The nature there saved me and was a visual feast that I enjoyed getting lost in daily.
